Is Illegal Hunting Taking Place In Namibia?

Namibia's Ministry of Environment and Tourism has come under severe attack by one of the country’s premier tour operators for issuing 70 hunting permits to shoot Zebra, Springbok & Gemsbok in a popular conservancy. Koss Verwey says he is struggling to understand not only why the hunting permits have been issued in a conservancy but also in December when many of the females are pregnant. Verwey also lashed out at keeping meat on this scale for human consumption as potentially very dangerous and it poses a serious health risk.
