Historically, the Kansas City Chiefs played in the 1st Super Bowl way back 1967. Since there is a constraint in seating capacity, voters approved a $102 million bond issue later in the same year to invest in the construction of a two-stadium complex, baseball and football stadiums, having a common roof that may be rolled together.
