The Greatest Miami Heat Team Ever
The Miami Heat joined the NBA as an expansion franchise in 1988. They featured a roster that was stuffed with role players and young draft selections. The Heat only managed to make the postseason twice in their first 7 seasons. The organization would not start to actually become a threat in the Eastern Conference till the coming of coach Pat Riley in 1995. Under Riley's leadership, the Heat constructed a new team focused around the foundation of Alonzo Mourning, Tim Hardaway, Walt Williams and Chris Gatling. They'd finish that year
