How To Prevent Grief With A Pre-horseride Check
Fairly often, a group trail ride can appear to be more like a melee in a rodeo. I have gone out on more such rides than I care to remember. Some of the horses, of the excitable type, would be dancing around even as their riders attempted to mount. Other horses would jar their riders absolutely awake with a portion of bucking and rearing. On so many occasions, I had to take a flying jump right into the saddle to avoid getting into a tussle with my horse. I've seen riders get so frustrated they about gave up on the concept of going out
